What a beautiful campground! Site on creek. Can drive to Grayson Highlands, Big Walker Mountain, all over in Jefferson National Forest for great hiking. We will be back!
Great walking trail. Steep accent/decent from campground end of Seven Sisters trail.
Beautiful campground. Some spaces are tricky to get in. Once set up very private. There are 4 bridges over the creek that meanders throughout the park. Kids love them
We never did camping before it was our first time, 8 of us, we enjoyed it very much but was very cold it was ending of August but that was my fault should have walk with our portable heater and an extension cord for electric, we had electric and water at the camp site. Bathroom was very nice hot shower and flush toilet, love to go again.
The camp sites are very nice. Some are roomier than others but all seem great. My only complaints: 1. The bathroom closest to campsite #45 did not have a working shower, 2. The campground is well maintained but I got a little tired of hearing the leaf blower everyday from the maintenance guy, especially as it gets later in the evening when I just want to relax and listen to nature. Overall I would stay here again.
