We liked this hotel stay and are very happy we chose to stay here. The check-in lady was super nice and made our experience great. The room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and soft yet not too soft. There were lots of comfy pillows. The shower had adjustable settings and was great. A very nice looking bathroom. A very clean room. The breakfast was good with a great selection of items. Very convenient to I-81 and a good value.
First the good... the room was clean (except the coffee maker), the beds and sheets were very comfortable, and the water temp and pressure were great. There was a 24-hour coffee bar, and the breakfast buffet covered all the basics. Also, I got a great deal on the room through AAA.
Great place to stay. Pretty view of the country side. Lots of restaurants close by. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Wonderful coffee: get the 'Wicked' strength. We'd stay there again on the way through.
Too pricey for what you get. This hotel smells old and musty. The few updates they did were overshadowed by the atmosphere. Staff were vaguely helpful, but not very knowledgeable. Manager was rude and acted too busy to be bothered helping hotel guests. This was a huge letdown as every other Best Western we have ever stayed at had friendly, helpful staff and modern nice smelling rooms. Definitely not worth the money they charge. Go to any other hotel in the area and you won't find much worse. And it will most likely cost you $40-60 less. Do not recommend unless you have no other option.
The not so good.... the halls had a funky smell--probably from the older carpets. The "security" door to the parking lot was broken. And I didn't feel safe enough to use the fitness room--which was a converted hotel room behind a door with no window at the very end of a hall or rooms, where it could not be monitored at all by staff.
The building is pretty clean for the most part. Room is standard and comfy. Good beds and linens. Breakfeast was fine and there were many options. The view of this particular building is great. Really nice view of the mountains.
