Basic accommodations. Nothing spectacular but a clean comfortable place to stay. Was a bit fooled by the reviews giving such wonderful accolades to the free breakfast. It was a carbohydrate lovers dream come true. Bread, waffles, muffins, bagels and absolutely no protein of any kind. Not even fake powdered eggs. I'm just glad the coffee was plentiful.
For the price ($65 for a king size bed) you can't beat it. Clean, comfortable, cable tv, laundry services (clean and reasonably priced), continental breakfast including Belgian waffles, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're passing through the area.
It was a perfect spot for an overnight stay after a long drive. Clean, friendly staff, newly renovated it seems. My husband and I had two kids with us and it was a good place for a family. I would recommend this to other travellers looking for an affordable place to stop over on the road.
Good hotel for the price. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. If I come back through Wytheville and need a room I will definitely stay here again.
Will definitely stay here again when passing through area. Can't beat the price. Pet friendly, however there is very little grass for "break time".
The television wouldn't work properly and would not change channels, tried calling front desk to ask for help but the room phone had no directory to call the front desk. Tried 0 but got a fast busy signal. Tried calling on my cell but it just rang and rang. Tried about 6 times with no luck. (My husband finally got it to work by the way) The air condition in the room was inadequate at best and felt like we slept in a sauna all night. I realize the room is budget but I expected alot more from Super 8. Very very dissatisfied
